Sunday Mornings tend to have a 'heavenly spiritual glaze' encircling the sky. We feel God's omnipotent power. It's a day of decadence for we give 'shouts' to our God for giving us another Sabbath so that we may honor him and love his Holy Son more and more. We feel the need to exclude worries, pain and we want to rid ourselves of circumstances which were too difficult to carry and bear. Sunday Mornings are awesome. It's our time to praise God. Sunday afternoons can be magnificent moments of relaxation with reflective thoughts of God's goodness. It's a time to ease our minds. If working during the week, it's surely a time to say 'Lord, I want to enjoy my day off.'
Prayer is great for Sunday Evenings. We know that we still need God's adoration and protection to travail this earth with tranquility and assurance that God will remove every stumbling block that Satan produced. It's certainly great that we can take this time on the Sabbath to introspect and to better connect with God. It's a day of peace. It's a day of spiritual opportunity. It's a day of rest. It's a day in which we can say 'Lord, I need thee every hour.'
Enjoy good eats! Be thankful if loving family is around to cherish. Savor the roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans. God has given us this Sabbath to break bread together; whether of the body of Jesus spiritually or whether we eat out and tip our waiters and waitresses after a meal well-prepared. Let us thank God for the Sabbath. It has been a wonderful day of the week for decades and more. And today is no exception. Thank God for a peaceful Sabbath. Bless you!
