MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

DOES IT FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS SEASON?

Christmas time was once a time of fellowship, food, giving people gifts, smiling and being warmer to strangers. Are we seeing the same Christmas as in the 1980s and 1990s? Of course Christmas is not about Santa, elves, trees and wreaths. It is about the celebration of the birth of Christ. We have used these things to help understand and connect with the Christmas theme. But we need more nativity scenes and we need more people to express the true essence of Christmas which is to celebrate love and the birth of Christ. It is still better to give than receive. And Jesus is still the reason for the season. Let us stand firm in our Faith. We know that God set aside this time of the year as a way for us to connect with the birth of CHRIST. He is our Savior and there is a very good reason why we are in tune with his birth regardless of actual date. Millions around the world ring in the new year with Jesus and positive resolutions on their minds. We have to continue spreading Holiday Cheer so that this younger generation will know the true meaning of Jesus which is to love, be courteous and give to others and especially to the less fortunate. We can express love by buying gifts for others to enjoy. But we have to keep Jesus first. It is CHRISTmas and not WORLDmas! That means the shopping bargains, ornaments and Christmas lights are not the reason for Christmas. Though we can still celebrate with Christmas trees and lights, but that is an added treat in regards to celebrating the birth of Jesus who is Christ! Don't let atheists steal your Holiday joy. It is still a great time to go the extra mile by loving others and giving to our family and friends! Bless you during this great Holiday Season. A king was born and his name is Jesus!
